Perth Scorchers v Melbourne Renegades betting tips & odds:
Perth Scorchers to win
Perth made an iffy start to life at the Big Bash, but did record their first win of the competition last time out.
They have enough class to get going against the Renegades, who are too reliant on one or two batsmen and have lost five straight matches.
Shaun Marsh to be Melbourne Renegades’ top run-scorer
This tends to be a two-horse race between Aaron Finch and Marsh.
Considering that Marsh has won it with 67 and 87 in his last two matches, he is the man to back.
Fawad Ahmed to be Perth Scorchers’ top wicket-taker
The clear strength in the Renegades’ batting line-up is the two openers, so it is worth backing a middle-overs bowler to do the most damage here.
Fawad Ahmed has only take a couple of wickets so far in this competition, but comes up against a side that has lost eight wickets to spin in its last three matches.
Jason Roy to score over 22.5 runs
Roy has made a decent start to his Big Bash campaign, scoring 21 in his first outing and following that up with 49 against the Strikers on Thursday.
He seems an obvious bet to go again, given he seems to have recovered from the poor form that plagued him for England recently.
