Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Renegades betting tips & odds
Melbourne Renegades to win
The Renegades are having a wretched campaign, but these are big odds for any team to win a single match in this competition.
Aaron Finch’s side are far from as bad, personnel-wise, as no wins from seven matches suggests. They will win at some stage, and a game against the Strikers – who had lost two on the trot before winning the reverse fixture on Tuesday – gives them a decent chance.
Aaron Finch to score over 23.5 runs
Much like his team, Finch is too good to keep on failing so consistently.
He has shown some signs of life in this tournament, scoring 35 and 30, and can bounce back from consecutive single-figure scores against a bowling attack that has allowed an opposition opener to pass this mark on its last three outings.
Alex Carey to score over 24.5 runs
Carey’s consistency means that he is an easy bet for runs every time he pulls on the Strikers shirt.
He has scored 82, 31 and 24 in his last three innings, and hit 55 against the Hurricanes earlier on in the tournament.
Rashid Khan to take over 1.5 wickets
Rashid Khan has been a little frustrating to gamble on in this tournament, taking just one wicket on five of his eight outings.
He has taken at least two in three of his last five matches, though, and is bowling well enough to justify our faith.
