Here are four football tips that Adam Drury thinks you should consider for Aston Villa v Liverpool on Friday.
BTTS & over 2.5 goals
Despite failing to score, Liverpool still created plenty in their last two matches at Newcastle and Southampton.
The Reds should break their duck here, while Aston Villa have scored nine goals in their last four.
The Premier League edition of this fixture, of course, finished 7-2 to the hosts in October.
Anwar El-Ghazi to score
El-Ghazi has scored five goals in his last six appearances, and took three shots despite failing to net at Man Utd last time out.
He is top for shots per game in Villa’s squad, so is a nice bet for a goal here.
Neco Williams to be carded
It is worth waiting for team news before pressing the button on this one – but if Jack Grealish is involved then backing Liverpool’s right-back for a card looks a fantastic bet.
Grealish is by far the most fouled player in the Premier League, and opposition right-backs have been booked on two of his last three appearances.
Williams seems likely to start there for Jurgen Klopp’s side, but it is worth backing whoever is named right-back on Friday night.
Over 1.5 Liverpool cards
Largely because of Grealish, Villa’s last three opponents have picked up at least three cards.
Dean Smith’s side are the most fouled in the Premier League, and a younger, rustier Liverpool team will do well to avoid making the same mistakes as all of Villa’s other recent opponents.
